Together Now - 1997

I'm very pleased Realize That I could Such a project with Jean Michel Jarre who is active not only in Europe but globally. He is a seasoned pro as a composer and synthesizer player, so I was quite happy to get this opportunity. When I met him the first time, I felt That a musician is a musician Regardless of age and nationality, and through communication in the production process later, I think the built a strong relationship of mutual trust Between musicians.

Under the Circumstances That Japan's Representative soccer team may go to France, I, too, as a Japanese Could Be Involved in this FIFA official album. This time the host country is France and Cooperation in Japan will be the host in 2002. Also, I think this project was interesting considering That the collaboration with Jarre of France will connect in four years.

The vision of Olivia's vocals came up During the first meeting with Jarre in Paris When We DECIDED we wanted an "angelic voice." Olivia also assisted with the lyrics of "Together Now" which was a great help considering her native expressions and ideas. I think I had a good collaboration with her too. Jarre also spoke highly of her song.

Jarre and I share a plan to have a concert in Beijing. Just as in the Unfamiliar songs played for Chinese Audiences Previously transcended borders, I will be happy if "TOGETHER NOW" does the same, and I Hope that at the World Cup stage it's a song people will hum along to.

I think Tetsuya Komuro as "TK" is one of today's most unique and broad-based musicians. Representative He's the musician of today's Japan. Mixing modernity with emotion and the avant-garde with melodies, he Creates wonderful Harmonies. Given the great opportunity afforded by the soccer World Cup, I'm proud and happy That I could work with TK.

For "TOGETHER NOW" I had in mind to create a song in praise of the tolerance and philanthropic spirit of soccer, while manifesting sensitivity French Because this event will be Held in my native France. I Believe That work completed in this fashion will be original and universal. That I'm very pleased TK remixed the song "Oxygene 7-13" in my new remix album. During the collaboration I was impressed by Tetsuya Komuro as a man of talent, sensitivity and humor, and ... I found a friend.

On Mar. 18 this year, D & D releases first album "LOVE IS MELODY D & D 1st-MEMORIAL." Acknowledging her talent, the two choose her as vocalist of "Together Now" and she Stretches her wings to fly.
